Vinca Petersen spent much of the 1990s travelling around Europe with various sound systems, documenting the slow days and raving nights as she went. Future Fantasy – published by Ditto Press, whose Creative Director Ben Freeman also collaborated with Petersen on collages in the book – brings together photographs, flyers, diary entries and more from Petersen’s time with the freewheeling rave scene. Future Fantasy also features previously unseen photography by Corinne Day, Petersen’s close friend and mentor. The result is a publication like no other, a unique archive of the 1990s’ heady rave days.
