A cassette tape of ambient and electronic music by cult British artist Cosey Fanni Tutti exploring ideas about self-representation and feminism. Released via Ian Dobson's Flowmotion cassette label in Leeds, Time To Tell was devised as a soundtrack to accompany the artist’s performance pieces. Featuring frank, spoken-word stories about Fanni Tutti’s life a sex worker, stripper and artist, backdropped by ominous, hallucinatory music, she described the album modestly in a 1982 lecture as "a cassette of a solo music recording I'd made in our small studio in Crouch End.” Time To Tell was released with a limited-edition zine featuring a nude Cosey Fanni Tutti on the cover, which you can buy here.
